In this presentation we will delve into how to work with your donors/clients to help them leave a lasting impact on causes close to their hearts. We will explore the significance of working with individuals to guide them in aligning their legacy with personal values and passions and assist your donors/clients identify the initiatives that they want to outlive their lifetimes and understand the potential outcomes of their charitable legacies.  This presentation offers practical guidance on how to encourage individuals to leave a meaningful legacy, making a difference, and leaving the world a better place

Cathy is an esteemed leader in the field of charitable gift planning, with 25 years of experience primarily in the healthcare and higher education sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Advancement Officer of Lena Pope in Fort Worth, Texas, and she is the founder of ThinkGiving, a philanthropic advising group dedicated to empowering individuals and nonprofits to make the most of their charitable contributions. Cathy was honored with the Benjamin Franklin Award for Outstanding Professional Fundraising Executive by the Fort Worth Metro Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2015. Cathy holds an MBA from Texas Christian University and completed her undergraduate degree at North Dakota State University. Cathy has the following designations:  CAP® (Charter Advisor in Philanthropy), CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive), and CSPG® (Certified Specialist in Planned Giving).
