 CYBER SECURITY FOR NONPROFITS

Speaker:

Kyle Jekot

The cybersecurity threat landscape is constantly evolving, with new threats emerging on a seemingly daily basis.  This can make it difficult for organizations of all sizes to stay ahead of the curve and protect themselves from attacks. In a world where every click, swipe, and tap is a potential battleground, understanding the threat landscape is not just a choice; it’s a necessity.  In this session, PNC’s Senior Security Business Partner and former FBI Senior Counterterrorism Analyst Kyle Jekot will cover the highly relevant cybersecurity topics concerning: 1) current trends of business email compromise, ransomware, and account takeover; 2) how to improve your organization’s security posture; and 3) the evolution of the threat landscape and forward-looking trends. This session is essential for anyone who wants to better understand the current cybersecurity threat landscape and how to position themselves against the cybersecurity threats of today.

Kyle is a Senior Security Business Partner with PNC's Enterprise Technology and Security, bringing a wealth of experience to his current role which he assumed in October 2021. With a proven track record of excellence, he has previously managed the Insider Threat Employee Investigations team at PNC and served as an Operational Risk Advisor, with specialized focus on fraud and physical security risk for the organization. His career includes notable positions such as Enterprise Risk with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, and Senior Counterterrorism Analyst with the FBI's Counterterrorism Division in Washington, DC. He has multiple fraud, blockchain, and emerging technology certifications, and is a published cybersecurity author.  Kyle is also a PNC-Certified Women’s Business Advocate and PNC-Certified Minority Business Advocate.

Note: There are no continuing education credits for this meeting.
